Truth
“Words reflect one’s thought but
actions define who they really are.”
When I came across this quote, I
feel like a huge rock bump onto my head.
Often I console my friends who
seek for comfort. They maybe come to me because their loved ones died or they
have conflict in their relationship. I’m not saying this to make you guys
looked up to me. The point I’m saying this is because I can comfort them and
motivate them in gaining their confidence, but when it comes to me in dealing
such conflicts and circumstances myself, I barely lift my spirit up.
Those words that can lift spirit
up are actually my hope for me, my motivation for myself. Those words reflect
who I wanted to be. People may look at me as a strong, tough young man, after
listening to my motivational words. But the truth is I am not. I am just an
ordinary human trying to be extraordinary. I can console and motivate people
but all those words are borrowed from a lot of psychological and motivational
books that I have read.
As the quote says, “Words reflect
one’s thoughts but actions define who they really are”, yes, that is me. I am
still trying to put my words into actions. I maybe slow in achieving that goal
but that is all process. Success does not come by itself but with effort.
