Define Beauty
"You look gorgeous."
"You are beautiful."
Nowadays people care about their looks so much and some are willing to take extreme move like taking surgeries to have the so-called "beauty". Don't you agree? Why are they willing to take such extreme step to get closer to their definition of beauty. Based on my random observation it is not their heart that they are trying to please but to the eyes those look at them, the audience.
What can I say is that beauty is ambiguous. We do not really have a set of principle that can be use to define beauty. This is because things that are not symmetry, not harmony and imbalance are beautiful too! Yeah I know I am one of the ungrateful people that not please with my looks but I realized now that as a human, imperfection means perfect. How do you define "perfect" anyway? Only God is perfect.
Back to the topic, people use some principle in judging someone's beauty. I disagree about this! Symmetry does makes you look nice and fine but I think the closer the person's features to his/her native the more beautiful that person is! I dare to say this because originality is what beauty really is. Being original makes us, us. We have identity of our own, our origin, our story and those are our pride! And that is what we call beauty!
People do not need to ask where are we from to know our origin. Our features explained them all!
Well I know an argument will arise like,
"How about mixed blood people?"
I mean a person whom father and mother are from two different native.
About that I could only say beauty is ambiguous. But never forget this,
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
